निष्कामा ह्यतुरा ह्यासञ्छिवसंपर्कजैर्गुणैः । अकस्माच्च तथाभूतं कथं जातं विमृश्य च
niṣkāmā hyaturā hyāsañchivasaṃparkajairguṇaiḥ | akasmācca tathābhūtaṃ kathaṃ jātaṃ vimṛśya ca
അവർ നിഷ്കാമരും വ്യഥാരഹിതരുമായിരുന്നു; ശിവസമ്പർക്കജന്യ ഗുണങ്ങളാൽ സമന്വിതരും. ആലോചിച്ച്—‘ഇത്തരം മാറ്റം അപ്രതീക്ഷിതമായി എങ്ങനെ സംഭവിച്ചു?’ എന്നു വിചാരിച്ചു.
