तपसा तेन महता तप्तमासीच्चराचरम् । तदा सुरासुराः सर्वे ब्रह्माणं शरणं गताः
tapasā tena mahatā taptamāsīccarācaram | tadā surāsurāḥ sarve brahmāṇaṃ śaraṇaṃ gatāḥ
ആ മഹാതപസ്സാൽ ചരാചരമായ സകല ജഗത്തും ദഗ്ധമായിത്തീർന്നു; അപ്പോൾ ദേവാസുരന്മാർ എല്ലാവരും ബ്രഹ്മാവിന്റെ ശരണം തേടി।
