पुरा प्रोक्तं त्वया तात अंब किं विस्मृतं त्वया । अधुनैव प्रतिज्ञां च श्रृणुध्वं मम बांधवाः

purā proktaṃ tvayā tāta aṃba kiṃ vismṛtaṃ tvayā | adhunaiva pratijñāṃ ca śrṛṇudhvaṃ mama bāṃdhavāḥ

പിതാവേ, നീ മുമ്പ് ഇതു പറഞ്ഞതല്ലേ—അത് നിനക്കു മറന്നോ? ഇപ്പോൾ തന്നെ, ഹേ എന്റെ ബന്ധുക്കളേ, എന്റെ പ്രതിജ്ഞ കേൾക്കുവിൻ.
