व्यास उवाच । श्रुणु वत्स ब्रवीम्येतत्पुरा प्रोक्तं च नंदिना । अगस्त्यं पृच्छमानं च येन सर्वं श्रुतं शुक
vyāsa uvāca | śruṇu vatsa bravīmyetatpurā proktaṃ ca naṃdinā | agastyaṃ pṛcchamānaṃ ca yena sarvaṃ śrutaṃ śuka
വ്യാസൻ പറഞ്ഞു—വത്സാ, കേൾക്കുക; പൂർവ്വം അഗസ്ത്യൻ ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ നന്ദി ഉപദേശിച്ചതേ ഞാൻ പറയുന്നു; ഹേ ശുകാ, അതിനാൽ സകലവും ശ്രവിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുകയും ചെയ്തു.
