ब्रह्मोवाच तदा दैत्यजेयत्वं तवानघ । विनार्भकेण दत्तं वै ह्यर्भकस्त्वां विजेष्यते

Transliteration

brahmovāca tadā daityajeyatvaṃ tavānagha | vinārbhakeṇa dattaṃ vai hyarbhakastvāṃ vijeṣyate

Translation

ബ്രഹ്മാവ് അരുളിച്ചെയ്തു—ഹേ നിർമലനായ ദൈത്യാ! നിനക്കു അജേയത്വം വരമായി നൽകിയിരിക്കുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ഒരു വ്യത്യാസത്തോടെ—ഒരു ബാലൻ തന്നെയാകും നിന്നെ ജയിക്കുക।
