अभवत्तस्य तज्ज्ञात्वा सुरेंद्रो ह्यगमत्पुरा । नगरं तस्य च तदा सैन्येन महता वृतः

Transliteration

abhavattasya tajjñātvā sureṃdro hyagamatpurā | nagaraṃ tasya ca tadā sainyena mahatā vṛtaḥ

Translation

അത് സംഭവിച്ചതെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞ ദേവേന്ദ്രൻ ഇന്ദ്രൻ അവന്റെ നഗരത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി; അപ്പോൾ ആ നഗരം മഹാസൈന്യത്താൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടിരുന്നു।
