जने वा विजने वापि अरण्ये वा तपोवने । तल्लिंगमर्च्चयेद्भक्त्या प्रदोषे तु विशेषतः
jane vā vijane vāpi araṇye vā tapovane | talliṃgamarccayedbhaktyā pradoṣe tu viśeṣataḥ
ജനക്കൂട്ടത്തിലായാലും നിർജനത്തിലായാലും, അരണ്യത്തിലായാലും തപോവനത്തിലായാലും—ആ ലിംഗത്തെ ഭക്തിയോടെ അർച്ചിക്കണം; പ്രത്യേകിച്ച് പ്രദോഷകാലത്ത്।
