। लोमश उवाच । ततः सर्वे सुरगणा दृष्ट्वा तं विलयं गतम् । चिंतयंतः सुरगणाः कथं च विदधामहे
| lomaśa uvāca | tataḥ sarve suragaṇā dṛṣṭvā taṃ vilayaṃ gatam | ciṃtayaṃtaḥ suragaṇāḥ kathaṃ ca vidadhāmahe
ലോമശൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ എല്ലാ ദേവഗണങ്ങളും അദ്ദേഹം ലയത്തിലേക്ക് (മരണത്തിലേക്ക്) പോയത് കണ്ടു ആലോചിച്ചു—‘ഇപ്പോൾ നാം എന്ത് ചെയ്യണം, എങ്ങനെ നടപടിയെടുക്കണം?’
