ततो देवाब्रुवन्विप्र दैत्यानां निधनायनः । शस्त्रनिर्माणकार्यार्थं तवास्थीनि प्रयच्छ वै
tato devābruvanvipra daityānāṃ nidhanāyanaḥ | śastranirmāṇakāryārthaṃ tavāsthīni prayaccha vai
അപ്പോൾ ദേവന്മാർ പറഞ്ഞു— “ഹേ വിപ്രാ! ദൈത്യന്മാരുടെ നാശത്തിനായി, ആയുധനിർമ്മാണാർത്ഥം നിന്റെ അസ്ഥികൾ ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് നിശ്ചയമായി നൽകുക.”
