तच्छ्रुत्वा प्रहसन्वाक्यं देवान्ब्रह्मा तदाऽब्रवीत् । चिरं स्थितानि विज्ञायागच्छध्वं तानि वै सुराः
tacchrutvā prahasanvākyaṃ devānbrahmā tadā'bravīt | ciraṃ sthitāni vijñāyāgacchadhvaṃ tāni vai surāḥ
അവ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ബ്രഹ്മാവ് പുഞ്ചിരിയോടെ ദേവന്മാരോട് പറഞ്ഞു—അവ ദീർഘകാലമായി അവിടെ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതെന്ന് അറിഞ്ഞ്, ഹേ സുരന്മാരേ, പോയി അവയെ കൊണ്ടുവരിക।
