अप्रशस्तं च विषमं युद्धं चैव यथा भवेत् । तथा कुरु महाबाहो गगनो वा महीतले
apraśastaṃ ca viṣamaṃ yuddhaṃ caiva yathā bhavet | tathā kuru mahābāho gagano vā mahītale
യുദ്ധം അശോഭനമോ വിഷമമോ (അന്യായമോ) ആകരുത്. ഹേ മഹാബാഹോ, അതുപോലെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു കാണിക്ക—ആകാശത്തിലായാലും ഭൂമിയിലായാലും।
