हेरंब उवाच । हे रुद्र हे महादेव हे स्थाणो ह जगत्पते । मया विघ्नं विनोदेन कृतं तेषां सुदुर्जयम्

ഹേരംബൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ രുദ്രാ, ഹേ മഹാദേവാ, ഹേ സ്ഥാണോ, ഹേ ജഗത്പതേ! ഞാൻ വിനോദബുദ്ധിയാൽ അവർക്കു അത്യന്തം ദുര്ജയമായ വിഘ്നം സൃഷ്ടിച്ചു।
