भस्मीभूतं रुद्रकोपात्कथं सृष्टिः प्रवर्तिता । कुतो ब्रह्मा च विष्णुश्च कुतश्चंद्रपुरोगमाः
bhasmībhūtaṃ rudrakopātkathaṃ sṛṣṭiḥ pravartitā | kuto brahmā ca viṣṇuśca kutaścaṃdrapurogamāḥ
രുദ്രന്റെ കോപത്താൽ എല്ലാം ഭസ്മമായപ്പോൾ, സൃഷ്ടി വീണ്ടും എങ്ങനെ ആരംഭിച്ചു? ബ്രഹ്മാവും വിഷ്ണുവും എവിടെ നിന്നു ഉദ്ഭവിച്ചു, ചന്ദ്രനെയും മറ്റു ജ്യോതിസ്സുകളെയും എവിടെ നിന്നു ലഭിച്ചു?
