अथाकर्ण्येश्वरो वाक्यं नंदिनः प्रहसन्निव । उवाच वाक्यं मधुरं बोधययुक्तं सदाशिवः
athākarṇyeśvaro vākyaṃ naṃdinaḥ prahasanniva | uvāca vākyaṃ madhuraṃ bodhayayuktaṃ sadāśivaḥ
നന്ദിയുടെ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട് ഭഗവാൻ മന്ദഹാസം ചെയ്തതുപോലെ തോന്നി. തുടർന്ന് സദാശിവൻ ഉപദേശസമ്പന്നവും വ്യക്താർത്ഥവുമായ മധുരവാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
