शप्ता वयं त्वया विप्र साधवः शिवकिंकराः । वृथैव ब्रह्मचापल्यादहं शापं ददामि ते
śaptā vayaṃ tvayā vipra sādhavaḥ śivakiṃkarāḥ | vṛthaiva brahmacāpalyādahaṃ śāpaṃ dadāmi te
ഹേ വിപ്രാ! ഞങ്ങൾ—ശിവന്റെ സദാചാരമുള്ള കിങ്കരന്മാർ—നിന്റെ ബ്രാഹ്മണചാപല്യത്താൽ വ്യർത്ഥമായി ശപിക്കപ്പെട്ടു. അതിനാൽ ഇപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ നിന്നെ ശപിക്കുന്നു.
