तन्मामुपागतोऽहं च त्वां सिद्धं नास्य वांछितम् । तदेनमनुयास्यामि मरणेन त्वया शपे

tanmāmupāgato'haṃ ca tvāṃ siddhaṃ nāsya vāṃchitam | tadenamanuyāsyāmi maraṇena tvayā śape

അതുകൊണ്ട്, ഹേ സിദ്ധാ! ഞാനും നിന്റെ അടുക്കലെത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നു; അവന്റെ ആഗ്രഹം സഫലമായിട്ടില്ല। അതിനാൽ ഞാൻ അവന്റെ മരണത്തിലും അവനെ അനുഗമിക്കും—നിന്നെ സാക്ഷിയാക്കി ശപഥം ചെയ്യുന്നു।
