नमस्कृत्य वचोऽवोचमिति भाव्यर्थनोदितः । तथा मतिस्तथा मित्रं व्यवसायस्तथा नृणाम्

Transliteration

namaskṛtya vaco'vocamiti bhāvyarthanoditaḥ | tathā matistathā mitraṃ vyavasāyastathā nṛṇām

Translation

നമസ്കരിച്ചു ഞാൻ വചനം പറഞ്ഞു, എന്റെ അഭിപ്രേത ലക്ഷ്യം പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചതിനാൽ. മനുഷ്യരുടെ മതി എങ്ങനെയോ, സൗഹൃദവും അങ്ങനെ; ശ്രമവും അങ്ങനെ തന്നെയാകുന്നു.
