पृथिवीजयराज्येस्मिन्यत्र प्रबूत मा चिरम् । जना ऊचुः । श्रूयते नैमिषारण्ये सप्तकल्पस्मरो मुनिः
pṛthivījayarājyesminyatra prabūta mā ciram | janā ūcuḥ | śrūyate naimiṣāraṇye saptakalpasmaro muniḥ
ഈ ഭൂവിജയരാജ്യത്തിൽ, നീ (നിന്റെ ധാരണപ്രകാരം) അധികം കാലമല്ല മുൻപ് ഭരിച്ചിടത്ത്, ജനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു—“നൈമിഷാരണ്യത്തിൽ ഏഴ് കല്പങ്ങളെ സ്മരിക്കുന്ന ഒരു മുനി ഉണ്ടെന്ന് കേൾക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.”
