इन्द्रद्युम्न उवाच । मदीयं सुकृतं ब्रह्मन्कथं भूमौ भवेदिति । किं कर्तव्यं मया नैतन्मम चेतसि तिष्ठति
indradyumna uvāca | madīyaṃ sukṛtaṃ brahmankathaṃ bhūmau bhavediti | kiṃ kartavyaṃ mayā naitanmama cetasi tiṣṭhati
ഇന്ദ്രദ്യുമ്നൻ പറഞ്ഞു— ഹേ ബ്രഹ്മൻ! എന്റെ സുകൃതം ഭൂമിയിൽ എങ്ങനെ (ക്ഷയമോ മാറ്റമോ) പ്രാപിക്കും? ഞാൻ എന്ത് ചെയ്യണം? ഇത് എന്റെ ചിത്തത്തിൽ നിലനിൽക്കുന്നില്ല।
