स्त्रीपक्ष इति मत्वा तामवजानासि भोः कथम् । स्त्री सती न प्रणम्या किं त्वया कुन्ती वृकोदर

strīpakṣa iti matvā tāmavajānāsi bhoḥ katham | strī satī na praṇamyā kiṃ tvayā kuntī vṛkodara

‘അവൾ സ്ത്രീകളുടെ പക്ഷം’ എന്നു കരുതി നീ അവളെ എങ്ങനെ അവഗണിക്കുന്നു? ഓ വൃകോദരാ! സതീസ്ത്രീയ്ക്ക് നീ നമസ്കരിക്കേണ്ടതില്ലേ—അപ്പോൾ കുന്തിയെന്ത്?
