रुदंस्तस्याः समीपे चाप्यागतः प्रेतसद्मनि । रुदंतं च ततो बालं कृत्वोत्संगे कृपान्विता
rudaṃstasyāḥ samīpe cāpyāgataḥ pretasadmani | rudaṃtaṃ ca tato bālaṃ kṛtvotsaṃge kṛpānvitā
അവൻ കരഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ട് അവളുടെ സമീപത്തേക്ക് വന്നു, പ്രേതസദ്മത്തിലേക്കും. കരയുന്ന ബാലനെ കണ്ട കരുണാമയിയായ ദേവി അവനെ മടിയിൽ എടുത്തു।
