ऊर्ध्वकेशश्चोर्ध्वरोमा पितरौ प्रणतोऽब्रवीत् । प्रणमामि युवां चोभौ जातस्य पितरौ गुरू
ūrdhvakeśaścordhvaromā pitarau praṇato'bravīt | praṇamāmi yuvāṃ cobhau jātasya pitarau gurū
മുടി നിവർന്ന്, രോമാഞ്ചിതമായ ദേഹത്തോടെ അവൻ മാതാപിതാക്കളെ പ്രണാമിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞു—“എന്റെ ജന്മത്തിന് കാരണമായ നിങ്ങൾ ഇരുവരും ഗുരുസ്വരൂപമായ പിതാമാതാക്കൾ; ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളിരുവരെയും വന്ദിക്കുന്നു।”
