Narratorial voice within Sūta’s discourse (closing of the māhātmya segment)
Tirtha: Guptakṣetra / Staṃbhatīrtha māhātmya (as ‘sarvatīrtha-phala’)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A sage narrates the ‘fruit of all tīrthas’ to an attentive listener; the words are visualized as purifying light washing away dark stains of sin, concluding the māhātmya with calm certainty.
Śravaṇa (devout listening) to tīrtha-māhātmya is itself a purifier and grants release from sin.
The broader narrative glorifies Guptakṣetra/Staṃbhatīrtha as conferring ‘sarvatīrtha-phala’.
Hearing the account from the beginning (āditaḥ) is prescribed as a spiritually efficacious act.
