नारद उवाच । एवमुक्ते पद्मभुवा कोपि नोवाच किंचन । चिरेणेदं ततः प्राह महीसागरसंगमः
nārada uvāca | evamukte padmabhuvā kopi novāca kiṃcana | cireṇedaṃ tataḥ prāha mahīsāgarasaṃgamaḥ
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—പദ്മഭൂ (ബ്രഹ്മാവ്) ഇങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ ആരും ഒന്നും പറഞ്ഞില്ല. ഏറെ കഴിഞ്ഞ് മഹീസാഗര-സംഗമം ഈ വചനങ്ങൾ ഉച്ചരിച്ചു.
