नारद उवाच । पुरातनामत्र कथां गुप्तक्षेत्रस्य कारणे । शृणु पांडव शापेन गुप्तमासीदिदं यथा
nārada uvāca | purātanāmatra kathāṃ guptakṣetrasya kāraṇe | śṛṇu pāṃḍava śāpena guptamāsīdidaṃ yathā
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഈ ഗുപ്തക്ഷേത്രം മറഞ്ഞതിന്റെ കാരണത്തെക്കുറിച്ച് ഇവിടെ ഒരു പുരാതന കഥയുണ്ട്। ഹേ പാണ്ഡവാ! കേൾക്കുക—ശാപം മൂലം ഇത് എങ്ങനെ ഗുപ്തമായി എന്നത്।
