एनं च वीक्ष्य वल्गन्तं तं विद्यान्मृत्युमागतम् । ऋक्षवानरयुग्यस्थो गायन्यो दक्षिणां दिशम्
enaṃ ca vīkṣya valgantaṃ taṃ vidyānmṛtyumāgatam | ṛkṣavānarayugyastho gāyanyo dakṣiṇāṃ diśam
അവനെ ചിരിച്ചും ചാടിക്കളിച്ചും കാണുമ്പോൾ മരണം എത്തിയെന്ന് അറിയണം. അതുപോലെ കരടികളും കുരങ്ങുകളും ചേർന്ന കൂട്ടത്തിൽ കയറി പാടിക്കൊണ്ട് തെക്കുദിക്കിലേക്കു പോകുന്നതും അശുഭലക്ഷണം.
