एवमस्त्विति देवेशैः प्रतिज्ञातं तदा मुने । स्वांशेन प्रकरिप्याम द्विजानां तव रक्षणम्
evamastviti deveśaiḥ pratijñātaṃ tadā mune | svāṃśena prakaripyāma dvijānāṃ tava rakṣaṇam
അപ്പോൾ ദേവേശ്വരന്മാർ, ഹേ മുനേ, പ്രതിജ്ഞ ചെയ്തു—“തഥാസ്തു. ഞങ്ങളുടെ സ്വന്തം ശക്തിയുടെ ഒരു അംശംകൊണ്ട് നിന്റെ ദ്വിജസമൂഹത്തെ യഥാവിധി സംരക്ഷിക്കും.”
