अर्जुन उवाच । अहल्यया कदा ब्रह्मन्खानितं वै महत्सरः । तन्मम ब्रूहि सकलमहल्यासरःकारणम्

അർജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ ബ്രാഹ്മണാ! അഹല്യ എപ്പോൾ ആ മഹാസരസ്സ് ഖനിപ്പിച്ചു? അഹല്യാ സരസ്സിന്റെ മുഴുവൻ കാരണവും എനിക്ക് പറയുക।
