यावन्मही समुद्राश्च पर्वता नगराणि च । तावत्स्थानमिदं विप्रा न हि त्यक्ष्यामि कर्हिचित्
yāvanmahī samudrāśca parvatā nagarāṇi ca | tāvatsthānamidaṃ viprā na hi tyakṣyāmi karhicit
ഹേ വിപ്രന്മാരേ! സമുദ്രങ്ങളും പർവതങ്ങളും നഗരങ്ങളും സഹിതം ഭൂമി എത്രകാലം നിലനിൽക്കുമോ, അത്രകാലം ഈ സ്ഥാനവും നിലനിൽക്കും; ഞാൻ ഇതിനെ ഒരിക്കലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുകയില്ല।
