एवं ते वर्णितः साधो प्रश्नोऽयं शक्तितो मया । यथा संजायते प्राणी यथा शृणु प्रलीयते
evaṃ te varṇitaḥ sādho praśno'yaṃ śaktito mayā | yathā saṃjāyate prāṇī yathā śṛṇu pralīyate
ഹേ സാദ്ധുവേ, എന്റെ ശേഷിയനുസരിച്ച് ഈ ചോദ്യം ഞാൻ വിവരിച്ചു—ജീവി എങ്ങനെ ജനിക്കുന്നു; ഇനി അത് എങ്ങനെ പ്രലയത്തിലേക്ക് (മരണത്തിലേക്ക്) ലയിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് കേൾക്കുക।
