अर्चिर्धूमश्च मार्गौ द्वावाहुर्वेदांतवादिनः । अर्चिषा याति मोक्षं च धूमेनावर्तते पुनः
arcirdhūmaśca mārgau dvāvāhurvedāṃtavādinaḥ | arciṣā yāti mokṣaṃ ca dhūmenāvartate punaḥ
വേദാന്തോപദേശകർ രണ്ട് മാർഗങ്ങൾ പറയുന്നു—അർച്ചി (പ്രകാശ) മാർഗവും ധൂമ (പുക) മാർഗവും. അർച്ചി മാർഗം മോക്ഷത്തിലേക്കും, ധൂമ മാർഗം വീണ്ടും മടങ്ങിവരുവാനും കാരണമാകുന്നു।
