अन्तःक्षुरा वाङ्मधुराः कूपाश्धन्नास्तृणौरिव । कुर्वते ये बहून्मार्गांस्तांस्तान्हेतुबलन्विताः

antaḥkṣurā vāṅmadhurāḥ kūpāśdhannāstṛṇauriva | kurvate ye bahūnmārgāṃstāṃstānhetubalanvitāḥ

Translation

അകത്ത് ക്ഷുരംപോലെ മൂർച്ചയുള്ളവർ; പക്ഷേ വാക്കുകൾ മധുരം—പുല്ലാൽ മൂടിയ കിണറുപോലെ. പല (വഞ്ചനാപൂർണ്ണ) വഴികൾ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നവർ, കാരണം-തർക്കവും ബലവും കൈവശമാക്കി ഒരൊരുത്തരായി അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യുന്നു.
