नारद उवाच । ततोऽहं धर्मवर्माणं प्रोच्य तिष्ठेद्धनं त्वयि । कृत्यकाले ग्रहीष्यामीत्यागमं रैवतं गिरिम्
nārada uvāca | tato'haṃ dharmavarmāṇaṃ procya tiṣṭheddhanaṃ tvayi | kṛtyakāle grahīṣyāmītyāgamaṃ raivataṃ girim
നാരദൻ പറഞ്ഞു—അപ്പോൾ ഞാൻ ധർമ്മവർമ്മനെ ഉപദേശിച്ച്, “ധനം നിന്റെ പക്കൽ തന്നെയിരിക്കട്ടെ; ആവശ്യസമയത്ത് ഞാൻ സ്വീകരിക്കും” എന്നു പറഞ്ഞു; അങ്ങനെ പറഞ്ഞ് ഞാൻ റൈവത പർവതത്തിലേക്കു പോയി.
