tripureti tatastāṃ tu proktavānbhagavānharaḥ | tuṣṭāva ca svayaṃ tasmātpūjyā sā jagatāmapi
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Tripurā
Type: kshetra
Listener: Sages/Devas (implied)
Scene: Śiva (Hara) pronounces the name ‘Tripurā’ and offers stuti; Devī stands radiant, receiving praise, while the three worlds symbolically bow.
If Śiva himself venerates Śakti, then her worship is universally authoritative and dharmic.
No tīrtha is named in this verse; it establishes Tripurā’s universal worship-worthiness.
Pūjā is prescribed in principle: she is declared ‘pūjyā’ (worthy of worship).
