अमीषां चाप्य भावे वै न किंचिदुपपद्यते । कलादो हि कलादीनां सुवर्णं शोधयेद्यथा
amīṣāṃ cāpya bhāve vai na kiṃcidupapadyate | kalādo hi kalādīnāṃ suvarṇaṃ śodhayedyathā
ഇവയുടെ അഭാവത്തിൽ സത്യത്തിൽ ഒന്നും യഥാവിധിയായി സിദ്ധിക്കുകയില്ല. എങ്ങനെ കസൗടിയും ശോധനക്രിയയും സ്വർണ്ണത്തെയും അതിലെ മിശ്രധാതുക്കളെയും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുമോ, അതുപോലെ ഉയർന്ന തത്ത്വം താഴ്ന്ന തത്ത്വങ്ങളെ പരിശുദ്ധമാക്കുന്നു.
