प्रशांते मानसे ह्यस्य शारीरमुपशाम्ति । मनसो दुःखमूलं तु स्नेह इत्युपलभ्यते
praśāṃte mānase hyasya śārīramupaśāmti | manaso duḥkhamūlaṃ tu sneha ityupalabhyate
മനം ശാന്തമായാൽ ശരീരവേദനയും ശമിക്കുന്നു; മനസ്സിന്റെ ദുഃഖത്തിന്റെ മൂലം ‘സ്നേഹം’ അഥവാ ആസക്തിയാണെന്ന് ഗ്രഹിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു.
