बहूदकस्य तीरे च प्रेतानुद्दिश्य दीयते । यत्किंचिदक्षयं तेषामुपतिष्ठेन्न चान्यथा
bahūdakasya tīre ca pretānuddiśya dīyate | yatkiṃcidakṣayaṃ teṣāmupatiṣṭhenna cānyathā
ബഹൂദകത്തിന്റെ തീരത്ത് പ്രേതങ്ങളെ ഉദ്ദേശിച്ച് എന്തെങ്കിലും ദാനം ചെയ്താൽ, അത് അവർക്കു അക്ഷയമാകുന്നു; അത് തീർച്ചയായും അവരിലേക്കെത്തും, മറ്റെങ്ങനെ ഇല്ല।
