savitā paramo devaḥ sarvasvaṃ vā dvijanmanām | vedavedāṃgagītaśca tvamapyenaṃ sadā bhaja

Translation

സവിതാ (സൂര്യൻ) പരമദേവൻ—ദ്വിജന്മാർക്ക് അവൻ തന്നെയാണ് സർവ്വസ്വം. വേദ-വേദാംഗങ്ങളിൽ ഗീതനായവൻ; അതിനാൽ നീയും സദാ അവനെ ഭജിക്കണം.
