मरणांतमेव यास्यामि स्थास्ये संचिंतयन्नदः । स एवं विमृशन्नेव नंदभद्रः स्वयं स्थितः
maraṇāṃtameva yāsyāmi sthāsye saṃciṃtayannadaḥ | sa evaṃ vimṛśanneva naṃdabhadraḥ svayaṃ sthitaḥ
‘മരണാന്തം വരെയേ പോകൂ; ഇവിടെ തന്നെയിരിക്കും’ എന്നു ചിന്തിച്ചു. ഇങ്ങനെ ആലോചിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് നന്ദഭദ്രൻ തനിച്ചായി അവിടെ തന്നെ നിന്നു।
