बहवोऽपि मया वृद्धा दृष्टाश्चोपासिताः सदा । तेषामीदृशका बुद्धिर्न दृष्टा न श्रुतामया
bahavo'pi mayā vṛddhā dṛṣṭāścopāsitāḥ sadā | teṣāmīdṛśakā buddhirna dṛṣṭā na śrutāmayā
ഞാൻ അനേകം വൃദ്ധരെ കണ്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്; എപ്പോഴും അവരെ സേവിക്കുകയും ഉപാസിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. എന്നാൽ അവരിൽ ഇത്തരമൊരു ബുദ്ധി ഞാൻ കണ്ടിട്ടില്ല, കേട്ടിട്ടില്ലയും.
