स सदा नंदभद्रस्य विलोकयति चांतरम् । छिद्रं चेदस्य पश्यामि ततो धर्मान्निवर्तये
sa sadā naṃdabhadrasya vilokayati cāṃtaram | chidraṃ cedasya paśyāmi tato dharmānnivartaye
അവൻ എല്ലായ്പ്പോഴും നന്ദഭദ്രന്റെ അന്തർഗതം നിരീക്ഷിച്ച് ഒരു പിഴവ് തേടിക്കൊണ്ടിരുന്നു. ‘അവനിൽ ഒരു വിടവെങ്കിലും കണ്ടാൽ, അവനെ ധർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തിരിപ്പിക്കും’ എന്നു അവൻ ചിന്തിച്ചു.
