bahudaṃśamayāndeśānnayaṃti bahukardamān | vāhasaṃpīḍitā dhuryāḥ sīdaṃtyavidhinā pare

Translation

കടിയുന്ന കീടങ്ങൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ദേശങ്ങളിലൂടെയും ആഴമുള്ള ചെളിയിലൂടെയും അവയെ ഓടിക്കുന്നു. ഭാരപീഡിതമായ ജോതുമൃഗങ്ങൾ തളർന്ന് വീഴും; ചിലർ വിധി‑മര്യാദയും കരുണയും കൂടാതെ ഇതെല്ലാം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
