Transliteration

āyasaṃ dvādaśapalaṃ ghaṭitaṃ phālamucyate | aṣṭāṃgulamadīrghaṃ ca caturaṃgulavistṛtam

Translation

ഇരുമ്പുകൊണ്ട് നിർമ്മിച്ച പന്ത്രണ്ട് പലം ഭാരമുള്ളതിനെ ഫാലം എന്നു പറയുന്നു. അതിന് എട്ടംഗുല നീളവും നാലംഗുല വീതിയും ഉണ്ടായിരിക്കണം.
