न श्रृणोति न वक्त्येव मनसापि च किंचन । एवंप्रभावः सोऽभूच्च बाल्ये विप्रसुतस्तदा
na śrṛṇoti na vaktyeva manasāpi ca kiṃcana | evaṃprabhāvaḥ so'bhūcca bālye viprasutastadā
അവൻ കേൾക്കുകയുമില്ല, സംസാരിക്കുകയുമില്ല; മനസ്സുകൊണ്ടും ഒന്നിലും ഏർപ്പെടുകയില്ല. അന്ന് ബ്രാഹ്മണപുത്രനായിരുന്നിട്ടും അവൻ ഇങ്ങനെ അത്ഭുതാവസ്ഥയിൽ ആയിരുന്നു।
