परमायुः स्थिता षष्टिस्तदप्यस्ति न निष्ठितम् । तस्य यावद्भवेदायुर्देहिनः पूर्वकर्म भिः

paramāyuḥ sthitā ṣaṣṭistadapyasti na niṣṭhitam | tasya yāvadbhavedāyurdehinaḥ pūrvakarma bhiḥ

Translation

പരമായുസ്സ് അറുപത് വർഷമെന്നു പറയുന്നു; എങ്കിലും അതും ഉറപ്പില്ല. ദേഹധാരിയുടെ ആയുസ്സ് മുൻകർമ്മങ്ങൾ നിർണ്ണയിക്കുന്നത്ര കാലം മാത്രമേ നിലനിൽക്കൂ.
