ये गोब्राह्मणकन्यानां स्वामिमित्रतपस्विनाम् । अन्तरं यांति कार्येषु ते स्मृताः पापिनो नराः
ye gobrāhmaṇakanyānāṃ svāmimitratapasvinām | antaraṃ yāṃti kāryeṣu te smṛtāḥ pāpino narāḥ
ഗോ, ബ്രാഹ്മണർ, കന്യകൾ എന്നിവരുടെ കാര്യങ്ങളിൽ ഇടപെട്ട് തടസ്സം സൃഷ്ടിക്കുകയും, സ്വാമി, സുഹൃത്ത്, തപസ്വി എന്നിവരുടെ വിഷയങ്ങളിൽ ഭേദമോ വിഘ്നമോ വരുത്തുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നവർ പാപികളെന്ന് സ്മൃതി പ്രഖ്യാപിക്കുന്നു।
