शिवाचारं न मन्यंते शिवभक्तान्द्विषंति षट् । गुरुमार्त्तमशक्तं वा विदेशप्रस्थितं तथा
śivācāraṃ na manyaṃte śivabhaktāndviṣaṃti ṣaṭ | gurumārttamaśaktaṃ vā videśaprasthitaṃ tathā
ശിവാചാരം മാനിക്കാത്തവരും ശിവഭക്തരെ ദ്വേഷിക്കുന്നവരും—ഇങ്ങനെ ആറു (ദോഷങ്ങൾ) ഉണ്ട്; ഗുരു ദുഃഖിതനായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അശക്തനായിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, അല്ലെങ്കിൽ വിദേശയാത്രയ്ക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോഴും അവനെ ഉപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് പോലുള്ളത്.
