त्वां विना कोऽपरो देव पुत्रस्याभीष्टदोऽस्ति मे । त्वयैव दत्तस्त्वं चामुं जन्म प्रापय मे सुतम्
tvāṃ vinā ko'paro deva putrasyābhīṣṭado'sti me | tvayaiva dattastvaṃ cāmuṃ janma prāpaya me sutam
ഹേ ദേവാ, നിന്നെ കൂടാതെ എന്റെ പുത്രന് അഭീഷ്ടം നല്കാൻ മറ്റാരുണ്ട്? ഈ പുത്രനെ നീ തന്നെയാണ് ദത്തനാക്കിയതു; അതുകൊണ്ട് നീ തന്നേ എന്റെ സുതനെ ഈ ലോകത്തിൽ ജന്മം പ്രാപിക്കുമാറാക്കേണമേ।
