वर्णाश्रमव्यवस्था च तदासीन्न हि संकरः । एकमन्यं न ध्यायंति परमं ते सदा शिवम्
varṇāśramavyavasthā ca tadāsīnna hi saṃkaraḥ | ekamanyaṃ na dhyāyaṃti paramaṃ te sadā śivam
അന്ന് വർണാശ്രമവ്യവസ്ഥ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നു; ധർമ്മകർമ്മങ്ങളിൽ സംകരമില്ല. അവർ മറ്റൊന്നും ധ്യാനിച്ചില്ല; സദാ പരമശിവനെയേ ധ്യാനിച്ചു.
