महाकाल उवाच । पुरा किल प्रदत्तानि भूमेर्दानानि भूरिशः । प्रत्यगृह्णन्त दैत्याश्च प्रविश्याभ्यंतरं बलात्
mahākāla uvāca | purā kila pradattāni bhūmerdānāni bhūriśaḥ | pratyagṛhṇanta daityāśca praviśyābhyaṃtaraṃ balāt
മഹാകാലൻ പറഞ്ഞു—ഹേ മഹാബാഹു രാജാവേ! പുരാതനകാലത്ത് ഭൂമിദാനങ്ങൾ അനേകം നൽകിയിരുന്നു; എന്നാൽ ദൈത്യർ ബലമായി അകത്തേക്ക് കടന്ന് അവ വീണ്ടും പിടിച്ചെടുക്കുമായിരുന്നു.
